FROM RECRUIT TO PRIVATE



the road to graduation has never been easy but im glad he made it. =) As i was walking along the jetty in tekong towards the parade square, feeling the familiar breeze that i once felt when i sent him in there, i cant help but feel nolstagic. we have come thus far together and i was happy that this long awaited day had finally come.

watching them throw their caps high into the air, i just want to jump up and cheer as loudly as them too. they were happy to leave that dreaded island, to go back to their family and girlfriends, just like i was happy to have alvin back in my arms. seeing him so busy taking photos with his friends and buddy, i ws glad that he had fitted in well and forge close bonds with others--people who shared the hard times, biscuits and loneliness with him.

our first weekend has just passed and we still have 7more days to spend together. as i was typing all this, he was sound asleep on my bed, probably tired from driving me to and from tuition. seeing him sleep is a bliss, and knowing that the cute guy lying on my bed is mine is probably the best thing that happened to me. =)

7 more blissful days to come. how i wish the time will stop for me..

TWO MONTHS...

flew past us!not exactly flew..coz i have been waiting darn long for this day! for alvin to pass out from bmt..it has been a growing up phase for me (though i dont seem to have grown taller maybe horizontally =/) and a lot of adjusting to do.

so finally he is getting on to another part of his National Service after 6-september-2006! but before that we get to enjoy a full 1 week of his block leave =D so many things that i want to do, so many places i want to go..


i seem to have put on a bit of weight =///
