1/20/2007 09:36:00 PM GIVING A BALANCED VIEW i guess when we were doing our gp in jc, our teachers probably taught us to always give a balanced view when writing about controversial issues to avoid being biased. now here's a food for thought: is giving a balanced view always good? for something which is clearly wrong, i dare to say that i will not hesitate to point it out. for issues like these, giving a balanced view, to me, is simply trying to find excuses to justify the mistake committed. i feel strongly for certain issues, therefore im frank and i stand firm in my own belief. everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and when my view is different from the majority, it doesnt mean im necessarily wrong or that im biased. much less because im young and ignorant and look at things in only one perspective. i dare to say, dare to love and hate and im not a central tendency person. if my idealogy clashes from yours, then its too bad. you may choose to listen to my view but do not judge. or compare. im sick of being the class baby, being the young and ignorant. if you think that way, then im no longer interested to share my views since they are immature anyway. go look for someone else. sick of being the young and ignorant. no one hears my screams and see where im coming from. |
